Cruising Bird Creek trail

Alan surprised me with a new cruiser bicycle when I returned home. So with the promise of clear skies we took off down Turnagain Arm to cruise the trail near Bird Creek. As soon as we were on our bikes and on the trail, it started sprinkling! However, I wanted to get comfortable on the new bike and kept going - then the wind started and seemed to want to push us back. We finally turned around and decided to ride out of the rain and let the wind push us - a much better choice. And we did enjoy riding to the end of the trail. Although you can see, we were dressed for temperatures in the upper 40s. That was last week and now the temps are moving into the 50s and 60s. This week I rode to work one day and we've been out a couple of evenings. I recommend bicycling as a great way to spend time outside - especially when we have so many trails to enjoy.
