Away, Away

So many "things" in this house remind me of the children growing up, family gatherings, and good times. However, we have remodeled and must move on. Sometimes one of the biggest challenges is letting go and parting with some of those things that no longer serve any use, but are loaded with memories. (Sounds similar to "Shoe Love".) So my solution is to take pictures and move on! These photos are for me as much as for anyone else.
This is the folding table that used to give us extra space and storage in the kitchen. With the table sides up we would make candy, roll out cookies or pie crusts, serve food for extended family gatherings, or back yard parties.



And, the third is a photo of What was the kitchen floor tile, the kitchen counter tile, and our Family Home Evening assignment house. All were a part of the kitchen that only lives in our memories. But, I love the remodeled kitchen and am grateful for the memories of good times in the former kitchen.
