Summer went too fast - before I could even show you I had my garden started, I've put it to bed for the winter. By the last ten days of September our nights were getting cold and I knew I had to take care of the garden before going to Utah in early October for a very quick visit. Here are some of the pictures I took during the season. First, the house begging for some color after a long winter:

We had stawberry baskets with trailing purple flowers:

Pots of Martha Washington geraniums adding color to the front of the house:

Containers with snapdragons and tiny little pink flowers were on the porch with potted dahlias (and we replaced the old fence in August)

I tried to grow some tomatoes, but ran out of time for them to ripen:

However, the volunteer raspberries that escaped the neighbor's yard gave me a delightful treat!

I'll now have to wait until next May to do more gardening outside.

Has it already snowed up there?! That's unbelievable!
