Spring or Winter?

Last week I thought for sure spring was coming to Anchorage. The roads were clear and snow was melting off the lawns. Canadian geese were returning to the Park Strip, where I walk going to work. They take a layover on their migration north. But Mother Nature had another surprise for us. It snowed again on Wednesday and Thursday. I wondered how the geese would respond, but it didn't seem to bother them as much as me!

I'm hoping for more green grass this week. We actually saw temperatures in the low 50's today!
