Kitchen cabinets with doors

Finally, the day really did come. All our kitchen cabinets have doors on them. The drawers have drawer fronts. The tile backsplash is complete. And, we have a new back door that doesn't let cold drafts in! As with any project, there are details to be finished, but as we have time, we can vacuum the sawdust out of the drawers and off the shelves and put our kitchen back together! I'm excited to do it - but I know much won't get done until January. I'm enjoying the fact that this much is completed. Take a look.
I wouldn't be surprised if you noticed that we still need a new floor and trim at the ceiling. Those are on the list. Now that Alan has some time off work again I'm hoping he'll love my flooring choice as much as I do. We are waiting to put in the dishwasher and a refrigerator until the floor is in. Our refrigerator still occupies a good deal of the dining room and I'm washing dishes by hand.
